Every item we make is hand crafted in our workshop using top quality timber  products. The timbers we use accept all paints, preservatives and stains. Our Signs on slabs are impressive and grace the entrances of numerous properties including the Putaruru Timber Museum and Tokoroa's Chainsaw man base.

While we don't do formal workshop tours, if you are passing don't hesitate to stop in and visit us to talk about your requirements. We are located in the heart of the South Waikato at 1 Billah Street Tokoroa, New Zealand.

Toadstool Guitars is a new focus for Gary and his real Destiny is finally . evolving with making Ukuleles and guitars his true desire is being fulfilled.

Many people have contributed information for getting the unique sound that the Cook island Ukulele has so that Gary can reproduce this in the design he has developed

It was a nice way to take our woodwork passion into a job we can share with others. 

Now we have set up a whole new workshop in the South Waikato ,Central region, this gives us a larger market to spread our  wings and grow.  This change took place in spring of 2009 and we are looking ahead to busy growth and a successful future here with closer access to suppliers and customers alike.

Our vision is to be a specialised manufacturer in New Zealand supplying  quality products from Guitars and cook island Ukuleles and instrument repairs  to signs on slabs and outdoor slab tables.  All of which have a built in integrity that distinguishes them from the norm.  So to be sort after by the customer as a product of preference for long term performance.

We offer a design and consultation service with our clients to create products that encompass all the requirements to meet your specifications and purposes so that each Instrument we make is effective and functional  .
